The family-owned Speyside distillery of Glenfarclas has announced a return to ther travel retail sector with a new range of single malts. This is spearheaded by the Glenfarclas 11 Years Old, which is released at 46% ABV and will cost £50 for a one-litre bottle. It is joined by Glenfarclas 16 Years Old, which is also bottled at 46% ABV. This is released at 60% ABV and will retail for £78. All four whiskies have been matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Spain. They are available now in Heathrow, Gatwick and Edinburgh airports in the UK. Other markets will be introduced in time.
Glen Moray
The Speyside distillery of Glen Moray has released two new whiskies, both finished in ex-Tequila casks from Mexico. This is the first time that the brand has used such casks. One features their classic Speyside single malt and the other is their rarer peated spirit. Both are released at their natural cask strengths and are non-chill filtered and of natural colour. There are just 474 bottles of each.

The two limited edition whiskies are released into the brand’s experimental WarehouseOne Collection, the location of many of Glren Moray’s more unorthodox casks. The unpeated Glen Moray 2014 Tequila Cask Finish was aged for eight years in ex-bourbon casks before finishing in the ex-Tequila barrels. It is bottled at 55.2% ABV and will cost £85/ US$115. The Glen Moray 2014 Peated Tequila Cask Finish followed the same maturation process and is bottled at 58.5% ABV. A bottle will cost £95/ US$130. They can be purchased at the distillery shop and via selected UK specialist retailers.
Tullamore D.E.W.
The Irish whiskey brand of Tullamore D.E.W. has launched a coffee-flavoured liqueur made with Bohemian honey. The new Tullamore D.E.W. Café Honey liqueur blends triple-distilled and triple-cask-matured Irish whiskey with locally roasted coffee from northwest Ireland and natural honey from the Czech Republic.

Café Honey is suggested to be served over ice or to add a twist to a classic Irish coffee. It is released at 35% ABV and is available now at the Tullamore distillery shop in Co. Offaly. It will also be available in the Czech Republic and Poland shortly. Other markets, including travel retail, will follow in 2026. A bottle will cost €32/ £28.
Wild Turkey
The Kentucky distillery of Wild Turkey has launched the tenth and final whiskey in its popular Master’s Keep series. The Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Beacon rounds off the series, which has been released annually since the inaugural bottling in 2015. The collection was created by Eddie Russell, the Master Distiller at Wild Turkey, to showcase new expressions beyond Wild Turkey’s core line. There have been nine previous releases: 17 Years (2015), Decades (2016), Revival (2018), Cornerstone (2019), Bottled in Bond (2020), One (2021), Unforgotten (2022), Voyage (2023) and Triumph (2024).

Recent Master’s Keep bottlings have seen Bruce Russell, Eddies son and associate blender at Wild Turkey, help his father. Beacon is a marriage of 10- and 16-year-old bourbons. The 10 year old was distilled in 2015 shortly after Bruce joined the distilling team. The 16 year old is a combination of spirit distilled in 2007 and 2008, which was made in the old distillery shortly before it was demolished to be replaced by the current distillery in 2011. The Wild Turkey Master’s Keep Beacon is bottled at 118 Proof/ 59% ABV and is available in selected global markets in limited quantities. A bottle will cost US$300/ £225.
