Angel’s Envy
The Louisville-based craft distiller of Angel’s Envy has introduced two new whiskeys to its portfolio. The Angel’s Envy Cask Strength is released annually and uses only the distillery’s ‘most exceptional casks. The 2026 Edition is bottled at 58.9% ABV (117.8 Proof) and features some of Angel’s Envy’s oldest maturing stocks. It has also experienced a three year finishing period in ex-Ruby Port barrels. There are approximately 20,000 bottles for the US market and 1,500 for internationals. A bottle will cost US$250.

The Angel’s Envy Cask Strength 10 Years Old Rye is the oldest rye whiskey to be bottled by the Kentucky distillery at cask strength. The whiskey combines two rye whiskeys distilled in 2013 and 2015. These were matured in new charred American oak barrels, before spending four years in ex-Caribbean rum casks. It is bottled at 55.8% ABV (111.6 Proof) and there are just 10,800 bottles. These will be available in the US only. A bottle will cost US$270.
Elijah Craig
The Kentucky bourbon brand of Elijah Craig has launched a high aged whiskey into their Single Barrel range. The Elijah Craig Single Barrel 15 Years Old has been selected by Conor O’Driscoll, the Master Distiller at Heaven Hill – the distillery where the brand is produced. The new whiskey is bottled at an ABV of 54% (108 Proof), and pays homage to 4 May 1964 – the date when US Congress officially recognised bourbon as a distinct American product. It will be available in stores across the US with each bottle costing US$150.

This release reflects the craftsmanship and tradition that have defined Elijah Craig for generations. We were looking for exceptional depth and character and it delivers at a proof that enhances its natural complexity. The result is a bold yet refined whiskey that is approachable enough to be an all-evening sipper.
Conor O’Driscoll.
Torabhaig
The Scottish artisan distillery of Torabhaig has launched its first permanent core single malt. The Torabhaig Taigh, which translates as ‘house’ from the local Gaelic language, will be released in small batches. It follows the Legacy Series, which introduced the distillery from the isle of Skye to the world. It has been matured in first-fill and re-fill ex-bourbon casks, plus a small parcel of ex-Madeira cask matured whisky.

Torabhaig Taigh combines sweet notes from the casks with signature peat smoke characteristics from their distillate. It is released at 46% ABV and is both non-chill filtered and of natural colour. To celebrate the milestone, Torabhaig has collaborated with Scottish poet Iona Lee. She has written a poem that is inspired by its island home on the Sleat Peninsula of Skye. It is available via specialist retailers in selected world markets. A bottle will cost £40/ US$55.
